Carbine Fundamentals 06/21/25 9am-2pm
Join us for our carbine fundamentals course June 21, 2025! This course is designed for both new and experienced shooters who have little or no professional training to establish an understanding of the capabilities of both rifle and shooter. Topics covered include:
Disassembly and maintenance
Safe handling practices
Carbine setup to include ballistics and barrel length, muzzle devices, optics, triggers, ergonomics, and slings
Marksmanship fundamentals
Zeroing your carbine
Alternate supported and unsupported firing positions
Students must bring the following:
AR15 platform rifle with sling and optic or iron sights correctly mounted. 10.3” minimum barrel length (competition muzzle breaks highly discouraged).
Minimum 3 magazines
Magazine pouch (belt, chest rig, or plate carrier mounted)
200 rounds ammunition (NO GREEN TIP)
ANSI rated eye and ear protection
Weather appropriate clothing
Water and snacks
